Why ForeverMemoir?Let's face it... funeral services in Barbados are often just too expensive. Many times persons who find themselves sitting in the office of a funeral director are not in a position to cover the cost of burying their loved one. Maybe they did not see death coming. Maybe they don't have the mechanisms in place to ease the financial burden they now face. Whether or not you were financially prepared, you deserve the option to give your loved the best send off, at the best price possible. That just so happens to be our speciality. Our online memoir and digital document services are the perfect solution to give you all you need to announce the death of your loved one and preserve their memory all at a mere fraction of the cost of traditional media. Cost. The cost of our obituaries alone is less than 50% of the cost of their printed equivalent. Reach. Simply put, our memoirs are a better way to share information with exactly who you want to. Why pay to reach 200,000+ persons when only 100 actually knew your loved one?

How can ForeverMemoir save me money on obituaries? It's simple really... we do digital, and we do it very well. The cost of a standard funeral obituary is just under BBD 1000.00. That obituary will be printed in black and white (the same obituary if printed in colour will cost almost twice as much). The number of names of relatives and friends must be carefully considered as too many names can run you into a larger obituary which will multiply your cost yet again. In all fairness, your local newspaper has no choice but to manage the available space on every page. However, we don’t have that restriction. We have NO LIMITS on the number of names you can mention so no need to worry about anyone feeling left out. Also, all our obituaries are done in FULL COLOUR. The cost? $410.00 BDD. Everytime.

How can ForeverMemoir save me money on leaflets?Digital all the way... of course. Every Barbadian understands the significance of the funeral leaflet. It's more than just the order of service. It's a memento. It's a keepsake. It's also very expensive. When going the traditional route you may want to control your cost. Maybe you don't really need the centerpage collage of photos. Maybe you don't want to add the lyrics of all your loved one's favourite hymns. Maybe Auntie Mavis doesn't really need everyone to have a copy. At ForeverMemoir we say it doesn't need to be expensive at all. So, have the centerpage collage, have the lyrics to every hymn, have it all... in full colour too. We are proud to be the first to create and distribute digital leaflets allowing everyone access using their digital devices. Whether you use your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop it doesn't matter. Oh and by the way, you are free to download a copy as often as you like so no need to worry about ever losing it. It's yours forever.

Why a memoir? Our memoirs provide a creative alternative to the traditional means of eulogising the life of your loved one. Beyond a newspaper obituary, beyond a radio announcement, a memoir captures the true essence of a life lived. It all starts with your memorial documents. Here we share your loved one's obituary, leaflet (order-of-service) and after the burial, a fully transcribed eulogy. Then we have your media gallery. Photos and videos are saved here in all their glory. We even make space for your livestream. Finally, we have your memories and condolences. Here we dedicate space for the submission of fond memories and final farewells from friends and relatives. Simply put, our memoirs are a better way to preserve the memory of your loved one. When printed obituaries fade and leaflets break down and degrade, our memoirs will live on forever.

How does it all work?Remembering your loved one through our memoirs allows families to submit treasured photos, videos and stories that tell the story of the life of your loved one. We present these in a beautiful and functional layout which preserves their memories for as long as you wish. We then provide you with a link to your memoir which you are encouraged to share with all family and friends. That way they can share in the memory and even share their own memories. Memories and sympathies submitted via your memoir immediately become a part of the memory so they can be forever cherished.

What media can I add to my memoir? You can submit any photos, videos, documents (eulogy, obituary) preferrably in electronic form.
